Performance Management

 

The performance partnership process is administered through the HR department. The Libraries’ Employee Services supports the on-site coordination.

Instructions

The performance partnership process provides an opportunity for supervisors and employees to meet to discuss the employees’ overall performance of the past year, their work aspirations, important initiatives, set future goals, etc.  The steps in the process are outlined in Section I of the performance partnership 2025 form. Below is information on the timeline, form, and training.

Due Dates

Process Steps

12/15/25

Employees complete and email the self-assessment section to their supervisor.

1/15/26

Supervisors complete and email the supervisor’s section to their employee(s).

1/30/26

Supervisors and employees meet to discuss the evaluation.

2/6/26

Supervisors email the signed forms to the Library Operations Manager.

2/10/26

Library Operations Manager emails the form to HR.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Resources

The HR website includes resources for employees and for supervisor for guidance on preparing for the meeting, creating SMART goals, and resource information in FAQs and the competency library.

Performance partnership training sessions are scheduled and listed on the HR website. More general information about performance partnership may also be found on the HR website.
