Central NY Master of Public Health (CNYMPH): MPH Home

Master of Public Health

The Master of Public Health (MPH) is a joint program offered by Syracuse University and Upstate Medical University.  Students enrolled in this program have full access to all library resources at both campuses, including remote access.

There is significant overlap as well as uniqueness in the two libraries resources, and where there is overlap, students may choose their point of access based on personal preference.

To find out more about the MPH program, see: Central NY Master of Public Health

Use the tabs above to find some of the best online resources available through subscriptions at Syracuse University Library** and the Health Sciences Library at Upstate Medical University**.

Public Health is a multidisciplinary field, and you may need to use resources from the Health Sciences Library, E.S. Bird Library, and the Science and Technology Library (Carnegie) in the course of your work.

The librarians and staff at both Syracuse University Library and the Health Sciences Library are happy to assist you in your research. Besides in-person help at the libraries service desks, options for research help can be found at the following:

**It is important to note that library policies and borrowing privileges differ for the two library systems.   Please view the following to become familiar with them:

  • SU Library Policies
Please note that the Syracuse University Libraries requires an SU/ESF ID for Waverly Avenue entrance to Bird Library beginning at 8 p.m. At that time, Libraries security staff and floor monitors will also check the IDs of everyone already in the building. Anyone without an ID will be required to leave.  Make sure you have your SUID with you, as your Upstate Medical University ID will not be accepted.  For more information see the press release.)
