Overview
The Libraries’ onboarding program is coordinated thru Employee Services and begins with approval from HR. It is meant to compliment the HR department’s focus on the Universities’ onboarding process. The onboarding program is meant to create a sense of community building and a supportive learning environment.
Onboarding is not Orientation. It provides the new hire’s first experiences and their retention. See the below visual for location of steps and timeline for “who, what, and when”.
