Enjoy Diwali 2023 at Syracuse University. The staff of the King+King Architecture Library is pleased to be asked to participate in this year's events. The subject guide which appears here represents the books displayed November 7th and 9th in the Slocum atrium as part of the celebration.
On Thursday, November 9, students in Romita Ray’s Art and Architecture of India class will join other students, faculty and staff from across campus to illuminate the Orange Grove in honor of Diwali, the festival of lights in India, from 5:30 p.m. onward. The illuminations will be accompanied by spectacular Rangoli designs created by NOMAS (National Organization of Minority Architecture Students) in the School of Architecture. This is the third consecutive year that NOMAS is collaborating with Professor Ray who has been organizing this annual illumination evening on campus since 2015.
