Welcome to the Syracuse University Libraries!  We realize that libraries differ from country to country, and created this guide to introduce you to the many free resources and services that are available to you at the SU Libraries and beyond.  And if you have any questions or need any assistance, you can always Ask Us!  We are here to help you!

Confused by library terms and vocabulary? These resources can help!

• Glossary of Library Terminology provides definitions for some common library vocabulary used at the Syracuse University Libraries.
• Multilingual Glossary for Today's Library provides translations of some common library vocabulary in seven languages, including Chinese, Korean, Japanese, French, Spanish, Arabic, and Vietnamese. (Created by the Association of College and Research Library's Instruction for Diverse Populations Committee.)

Syracuse University is home to a number of libraries that are open for you to use.  They include:

• E.S. Bird Library, home to the Diane and Bob '59 Miron Learning Commons and Special Collections Research Center
• Carnegie Library
• King + King Architecture Library
• College of Law Library

There are also other libraries and affiliates located in and around the University.  They include:

• Health Sciences Library (SUNY Upstate Medical University)
