Whether you are a student veteran, veteran employee or military family member, this guide is for you. With its numerous resources and services, a large university can be difficult to navigate. At Syracuse University Libraries, we have brought together starting points for research and services that may be especially helpful for members of our veteran community. Librarians and library staff members are also available to answer any questions you may have.
This guide was developed by Patricia Giles, OVMA Liaison Librarian; Abby Kasowitz-Scheer, Head of the Department, Learning & Academic Engagement; Stephanie JH McReynolds, Business, Management, & Entrepreneurship Librarian and EBV Librarian; Joel Carpenter, a 2026 Library and Information Science graduate student and Information Literacy Scholar; and Jennifer Jeffery, a 2017 Library and Information Science graduate student veteran at Syracuse University, with some content pulled from the International Students' Guide. We welcome feedback on this guide. If you have any comments or suggestions for improvement, please email Patty Giles (pmgiles@syr.edu)
