Veterans & Military Families Resources

Research guide to help student veterans, veteran employees, and military family members navigate Syracuse University and SU Libraries resources

Guide Overview

Welcome, Syracuse University Veterans & Military Families!

Whether you are a student veteran, veteran employee or military family member, this guide is for you. With its numerous resources and services, a large university can be difficult to navigate. At Syracuse University Libraries, we have brought together starting points for research and services that may be especially helpful for members of our veteran community. Librarians and library staff members are also available to answer any questions you may have.

This guide was developed by Abby Kasowitz-Scheer, Department of Learning & Academic Engagement and OVMA Liaison Librarian; Stephanie JH McReynolds, Business, Management, & Entrepreneurship Librarian and EBV Librarian; and Jennifer Jeffery, a 2017 Library and Information Science graduate student veteran at Syracuse University, with a good amount of content pulled from the International Students' Guide. We welcome feedback on this guide. If you have any comments or suggestions for improvement, please email Patty Giles
