Here are some core definitions of the library's central research tools that will help make the process of starting your own research easier. "Libraries Search" at https://search.syr.edu is a main comprehensive discovery tool for these collections. But Libraries Search should not be employed to the exclusion of also navigating into selected individual databases, journal titles, news sources or other sites pertinent to a topic or resource type (aka: format) one is seeking.
