Snowdomes: Home

About the Exhibit

Snow domes (or snow globes or glimmer globes) are palm-size hemispheres of acrylic, filled with water and white plastic shavings to simulate snow. Themes include seasonal topics such as Christmas, but they are most commonly sold as souvenirs at tourist traps worldwide. This private collection of over 150 domes celebrates locations around the world and events throughout the year.
