From mid-October to November, Syracuse University Libraries has curated a wide variety of Halloween-themed books and videos, ranging from old classics to today's prolific authors and filmmakers. There are also dozens of titles about how the various ghouls and creatures began to appear in literature and pop culture, as well as the copious film resources available through the library! Be sure to visit the physical display on the first floor of Bird Library. Have a safe and spooky Halloween!
This research guide, and the accompanying physical book display in Bird Library, was curated by second-year graduate student McKenzie Rybka (M.M. candidate in vocal performance, College of Visual and Performing Arts). McKenzie works in the Libraries' Department of Research and Scholarship with our collections team.
The DVD exhibit on display in Bird Library was curated by Stephen Singer, MA in Museum Studies '20, and Technology Consultant in the Department of Learning and Academic Engagement
