EZproxy Bookmarklet is a way to remote access electronic resources using EZproxy, which is helpful if you are off-campus trying to do research. The bookmarklet is installed on your browser’s bookmarks toolbar and lets you log into the off-campus proxy service without always starting from the Libraries website.
This tool is for SU faculty, students and staff only.
SU users should contact 315-443-5727 or submit an EZproxy help request for questions.
ESF affiliates are not eligible for EZproxy access unless currently enrolled in a course at Syracuse University.
In Firefox, Chrome, Edge, or Safari, click, hold, and drag the following link to your browser’s Favorites Toolbar or a bookmark folder: EZproxy Bookmarklet
Once you have installed the EZproxy bookmarklet, navigate to a database or webpage that is SU-restricted.
Once you are on the page, click on the EZproxy bookmarklet in your browser’s toolbar, and you will be redirected through the Libraries off-campus proxy service.
If necessary, you’ll be prompted for your SU Account and password.
