Library and Information Science

A resource guide for topics related to librarianship and library/information science.

What are LibGuides?

  • A guide is a webpage where you add and share content. To the public, they are referred to as research guides instead of LibGuides.
  • Each guide can be organized into pages
  • Each page contains content boxes
  • Each box holds content items, like text, links, images, and databases
  • Integrated reusability means you can create content once in LibGuides and reuse it again and again
  • Colleges and university libraries' LibGuides are consistent in color, font, and headings, and follow the college or university's accessibility standards (e.g. adding alt text for images, confirming that files are accessible documents, captioning videos and tutorials, etc.)
