"The Neurodivergent Artist Collective is a new collaborative effort by neurodivergent artists in Vancouver to take space in a neurotypical world and works to dismantle invisible inequities in contemporary art spaces. Members of the collective self-identify as neurodivergent and have felt alienated from engaging in the arts due to barriers such as a lack of access. The collective aims to be a safe space for folks facing socio-economic barriers, from differing cultural backgrounds, and of all sexual orientations and gender identities."

Adam is a non-speaking writer and artist. "[He has] contributed to academic journals and [is] a regular public speaker at universities and conferences. [His interests are] in neurodiverse ways of studying and collaborating, noting that mutual support is essential to access and creation."

"Workman Arts is a multidisciplinary arts organization that promotes a greater understanding of mental health and addiction issues through creation and presentation. We support artists with lived experience through peer-to-peer arts education, public presentations and partnerships with the broader arts community."

Sam’s work explores the idea of neuroqueering ecology, looking at how art making can offer space for new moralities that incorporate non-normative thinking and celebrate non-conformity with a particular focus on neurodivergent non-verbal modes of communication. They are the nominated recipient of the Henry Moore Foundation Artist Award 2022, and they received the CIRCA scholarship 2022 for Goldsmiths University MA Art and Ecology.
