The Libraries have nearly 100 games in our collections! 

Browse all games in Summon, keyword search for "games" and content type "realia." Or, browse by some of our favorite categories using the tabs on this guide.

Have a favorite game you'd like to see in the collection? Contact our collection development librarians at colls@syr.edu to let us know.

1. Locate the game you wish to borrow in Summon.
2. Request that staff retrieve your game from our shelving area (sorry, shelving area is closed to users for browsing)
   • in person: Write down the title and call number, and present that to staff at the Bird Library 3rd floor service desk.
   • online: click on the "request this item" button, and staff will email you when your game is ready for you to pick up at the Bird Library 1st floor service desk.
3. Present your ID, and library staff will loan you the game! Loan periods:
   • Undergraduate students, alumni -- 24 hours, limit 1 renewal
   • Graduate students, faculty -- 3 days, limit 1 renewal
4. Enjoy your game! (hope you win!)
5. Return your game, and ALL PIECES, to the Bird Library 1st floor or 3rd floor service desks. DO NOT put the game in the book drop.

Be respectful of the games and of other library users:

• Do keep track of all the pieces while you play.
• Don't eat any food or drink around the games.
• Do keep game pieces with their respective games.
• Don't return games in the book drop. (Bring them to the front desk instead!)
