Resources for School Media Specialists in SUPA Schools

Off-campus access to Electronic Resources

Note: You will need your NetID and password in order to access  research databases,  e-journals, and e-books remotely.

  • Visit https://library.syr.edu and navigate the web site as usual.

When you click on a resource that requires authentication, you will be automatically prompted to authenticate as a valid user through a process called EZProxy.

  • The login process for SUPA students and instructors has changed. To access library resources, you will need to use your NetID and password to access library resources from off-campus. You can activate and manage your NetID at SelfServ. Once authenticated, you will be automatically transferred to the resource you selected.

  • If you are having trouble accessing library resources, please contact Bird Library Circulation at (315) 443-5727 or circhelp@syr.edu for assistance.
