Linking to Video Titles Via SUMMON

One can link to individual video titles identified via the Library's  SUMMON search engine, which may at times lead either to streaming video via an online database, or alternatively, often may lead to library Classic Catalog item records for physical DVDs (or other video formats) available in the collection.  The example below shows an item record for a documentary about the late musician, Prince

  1. Click on the chain link symbol adjacent to the desired video title
  2. Copy the permalink into your course or otherwise send it to students or colleagues
  3. This method will work for either physical DVDs (as in this example) or also if the SUMMON result leads to streaming video
  4. Subsequent navigational steps into individual streaming video titles will vary depending on the publisher platform for that title
  5. Additional title level permalinking options also may be available as part of those navigational steps
