The Rubenstein Social Justice Award

Each year, Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics Department of Social Work faculty, students, staff, and community partners gather to honor one person who reflects the values of social justice in his or her professional and humanitarian endeavors with the Rubenstein Social Justice Award.The award is given in honor of the late professor Dan Rubenstein, a former faculty member in the School of Social Work and his late wife, Mary Lou, a former school social worker. The event is usually held in March to commemorate National Professional Social Work Month.

The theme for 2018 is Homelessness.
