Background
As background, the Libraries considers the safety of staff, patrons, and collections a shared priority. The Safety & Security Team was created to act as a collaborative conduit for information exchange and proactive improvement of safety and security measures. Each team member (area rep) was asked to inform their department and disseminate new instructions on emergency procedures, safety protocols, and communication channels.
