If the Library Does Not Have What You Need

Few libraries can afford or have the space to house every book ever published. Therefore, you can  through Interlibrary Loan request to borrow books and articles from other libraries. This is a wonderful service that is part of your tuition. All you need to do is register once and you can use this service for the entire time you are an enrolled student at Syracuse University. Keep in mind the books have shorter loan periods than SU and the fines are high.

World Catalogue (worldcat)

WorldCat also known as OCLC's First Search is an interactive online information system available on the World Wide Web. It is a good place to find  what has been written about various titles and what libraries own these sources. If Syracuse University does not own theses materials one can always request them through Interlibrary Loan.
