Use a database such as Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, or a subject specific database to do a search for your research topic. From your search results, note any journals that appear frequently.
Use one or several of the following journal matching/journal finder websites. These sites typically allow you to input the title and abstract for your manuscript, or sometimes keywords. The sites then search against a directory of journals and recommend journals that most closely match your manuscript. These websites are sometimes affiliated with publishers who are attempting to match authors with one of their journals.
