Within this guide are helpful how-to videos and interactive tutorials, providing insight for using library resources and beginning your research journey!

Using Library Tutorials & Videos

This guide shares with you a large number of videos and interactive tutorials to help you thrive throughout the research process. The learning resources that we offer here fall into a number of categories:

  • SU Libraries: Research Process offers videos that will introduce you to some of SU Libraries' main research tools, such as Summon and our databases, and show you how to find resources such as peer-reviewed journal articles.
  • SU Libraries: Subject-Specific Videos & Tutorials guides you though databases and other resources related to specific academic areas, such as architecture and business.
  • SU Libraries: Using Resources & Services helps you to learn more about the resources and services that SU Libraries offer, and helps you learn how use our printers, access online newspapers, find books on the shelves, and other helpful topics.
  • Credo Information Literacy Tutorials & Videos offers thoughtful guidance throughout the research process, covering topics such choosing keywords for your searches, evaluating sources, using citation styles such as APA or MLA, and creating annotated bibliographies, just to list a few of the many topics covered in the Credo series. To access Credo videos and tutorials, off-campus users will need to log in using their NetID and password.
  • Learn at SUL Workshop Recordings provides streaming recordings of some of the many workshops offered at SU Libraries on topics such as technical writing, advanced searching with ProQuest, and understanding geospatial data. Information about future Learn at SUL workshops can be found here

To share the videos, you can right-click on each of the following links to copy the video links. We could also provide embed codes if you'd like to embed the videos within Blackboard or other online platforms.
