What is Wellness?

The term wellness has numerous interpretations.  Syracuse University Library, appreciating that these interpretations are fluid and evolving depending on current cultural beliefs and practices, adopts a holistic definition of wellness as a healthy state of being encompassing a person's physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social and occupational states.

The wellness collection at SUL is comprised of books, as well as a circulating DVD collection of >200 titles that may be checked out.  Use the tabs above to explore the resources available to you in our wellness collection.  Bookmark this guide as: http://researchguides.library.syr.edu/wellness
