Literary Periodicals in Print at the Bird Library

This guide exists to assist you in locating contemporary literature in print at the Bird Library. The periodicals featured in this guide are small- and university-press magazines and journals that are available to students, faculty, and staff for use within the library. The most recent issues of these articles are available on the 2nd floor of Bird Library, east of the stairs to the third floor,  and are organized by title.

While this list includes all of the library's current subscriptions in literary magazines and journals, we are interested in identifying other titles that would be of interest to SU students, faculty, and staff. You may email me if you have any questions or suggestions.

Where available, links to the particular journals websites have been included in the entries. Follow these links for additional information and content, submission guidelines, and to explore the publications in depth.

Request Additional Titles

To submit information on any titles you feel the library should evaluate for subscription, please contact Patrick Williams, English Subject Specialist. If you can find a link to the publication's website, please include that as well. Many literary publications can be located in the New Pages Literary Magazine directory.

Finding Specific Issues

The most recent issues of these publications can be found on the 2nd floor of ES Bird Library. Older issues are available at the locations listed below the titles.
