August 25, 2012 Tropical Storm Isaac Rips through Haiti
Tropical Storm Isaac battered the island of Hispaniola on Saturday, August 25th, leaving at least 19 dead in Haiti and at least 5 in the Dominican Republic. The storm left flooding and mudslides throughout areas such as Port au Prince, including many of the tent cities. Hundreds of people already left homeless from the 2010 earthquake were again left homeless due to the rising waters from the hurricane.
