Social Work: RefWorks

Master Guide

Transition to the NEW RefWorks

RefWorks is available on a new platform.  The legacy RefWorks will continue to be available for the near future.

Important considerations before switching:

  • Although you can move all your references from legacy RW into the new RW, papers started in legacy RW will not be compatible with the new RW.
  • Mac users:  At this time Write-N-Cite may not yet work with Word 2016 for Mac.

To get started, Create a new RefWorks Login and Password      (Do not use your NetID password.)

You will easily be able to bring in your existing RefWorks references by  Importing Your Legacy RefWorks Database to the NEW RefWorks.

Additional information may be found on the RefWorks Support Page.   Please email the Citations Team if you have any questions.
