IPA Source is an online library subscription database for IPA transcriptions and word-by-word translations of vocal texts. If you don't find what you need here, be sure to check the list of print IPA resources also on this page.

Word-by-Word Translation & IPA

The Bird Library reference section contains many shelves of phonetic transcriptions and word-by-word translations for songs and arias. While IPA Source has a lot, the print sources still have many more songs and arias you can't find other places.

Get the composer and language for each of your songs and arias, and then look at this PDF list below for help in finding the book that contains your texts!
