An introduction to the many areas of cultural heritage, institutions, methods of preservation, definition of culture, digital applications and methodology and context.

Course Description

Introduction to Cultural Heritage Preservation is taught by Professors  Edward Aiken  (Museum Studies), Kenneth Lavender (Information Studies) and Christopher DeCorse (Anthropology Studies).

This course introduces students to many less prominent areas of  preservation of cultural heritage ranging from institutions,methods of preservation, digital methodologies, definition of culture, place, context and much more.
