How to Obtain ERIC Documents that are Not Available Online

There are several ways you may obtain an ERIC document that is not available online:

-- Put the document title in quotes or use the ERIC document number (EDxxxxxx) and search it in Google or Summon.

-- In some cases, particularly for ERIC documents that are books or reports, the document has been added to our collection and may be found by searching the Library Catalog.

-- We own most pre-2005 published ERIC documents in microfiche.  Our Interlibrary Loan Service will retrieve the ERIC document on microfiche from The Facility and send it to the Service Desk on the 1st floor of Bird Library for your use.     Please include the document’s ERIC document number (EDxxxxxx) with your request.

You may use the scanner on the 3rd floor of Bird Library to email it to yourself, save it to a thumb drive, or print copies from your print quota.  Please ask for assistance at the 3rd floor service desk.

Read or Scan an ERIC document on Microfiche

A microfiche scanner is available on the 3rd floor of Bird Library to perform scan to file, scan to print, email, OCR, and automated multi-page scanning. The scanning station is connected to the network and uses NetID for login, enabling users to send scans via email or print copies from their print quota.  Please ask for assistance at the 3rd floor service desk.
