If we don't have what you're looking for, we'll borrow it for you from another library:

This is a FREE service provided by SU Library through ILLiad, our automated interlibary loan system. Some publications (e.g. journal articles) may be e-mailed directly to you as PDF files. Books must be picked up at Bird Library.

If you don't have an account, go to ILLiad, follow the link for "First Time Users" and fill in the form to create a new account. You'll be able to start using ILLiad right away.

Books and Subject Headings

For electronic books, try searching in ACLS Humanities E-Book.  This database provides full-text and full-page-image access to titles in most humanities disciplines and in area studies.  The books included have been recommended by scholars as significant contributions to their respective fields.
