SUMMON Search Tips:

First, try searching SUMMON for the title of the song

This will retrieve score anthologies or show selections when the title of your song is typed into the library catalog contents notes.

• Put quotation marks around the song title to search as a phrase
• Do not enter a composer; sometimes, the composer of the song may not be the main composer listed for the entire score
• Limit your search results to "music score" under CONTENT TYPE on the left

Second, try searching SUMMON for the title of show or larger work that contains your song

This will retrieve scores for shows or show selections that will contain your song, though the library catalog may not have contents notes.

• Enter the show title in its entirety
• Do not enter a composer; sometimes, the composer of the song may not be the main composer listed for the entire score
• Limit your search results to "music score" under CONTENT TYPE on the left
