CHANGE IS COMING THIS SUMMER

This summer (June 2024) the Libraries will be replacing the Classic Catalog and SUMMON with a new library services platform called Primo VE. Read more about this BIG change on the Library Blog. More information will be communicated on the Library’s website as the migration progresses between now and June.

ArcGIS Desktop, also know as ArcMAP, is no longer available or supported at SU. If you are using ArcGIS Desktop you will need to migrate to ArcGIS Pro.

Geographic Information Systems

GIS consists of hardware, software and data working together to display multiple layers of vector, raster, and data files simultaneously to understand and visually solve geographical problems and provide new insights into answering questions about the human and natural world we inhabit.
